Research Interests

Neuroprotection and Parkinson's disease

My interests are in investigating mechanisms that lead to the protection of dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra following the injection of neurotoxins. I am also interested in looking at the susceptibility of neurons in the brain to a neurotoxic insult in adult animals that were exposed to perinatal stress. ResearchGate Profile
