Research Interests
Muscular Dystrophy, Hypertension, Immuno-bullous skin diseases, salt split skin techniques, silicosis, and asbestosis, CAW, Immunohistochemistry, Light Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, Fluorescence Microscopy, HIV and Public Health.

Biosketch
Sivato has been a qualified medical technologist for over 20 years having a National Diploma in Medical Technology-Histology and Histopathological Techniques. He studied at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, underwent his in-service training at the UCT Medical School and Groote Schuur Hospital Department of Anatomical Pathology from 1990 until 1991 and qualified in 1992
